Regardless of how you found us, at Uttrly we\u2019re driven by technology to make the process of remodeling and building simple and smooth. Projects large and small receive high-quality work, quick turnaround times, and clear communication every step of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how does working with us, well, actually work? Below are the steps we take to take your project from inquiry to kickoff!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wishlist & Walk-through<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By the time you\u2019ve reached out, you\u2019ve most likely compiled your \u201cwishlist\u201d of all the rooms and projects you\u2019re eager to tackle and ready to price out. The first step to initiate your project is to reach out to us via email<\/a>, our request quote page<\/a>, or over the phone (202.681.0825). You\u2019ll connect with an Uttrly team member who will gather the high-level details of your request and schedule a walk-through of your house, business or construction site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the walk-through we\u2019ll capture important details like the dimensions of the room\/project, finishes you like or currently have, and the design intent and overall vision.  Other logistical details like access to the property, whether there will be kids or pets on-site during work hours, and tons (and tons) of photos will be taken at that time as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time for your Quote!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once your walk-through is completed, we go back and begin to put together a detailed quote for you. We factor in UCrew labor cost, material cost, identify first availability with the UCrew that best fits your project’s needs and skill-set and determine how long we expect your project to take from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll receive a personalized and interactive quote from Quotient that breaks down your wishlist into line items that can be selected based on your budget and priority-level. Once you\u2019ve reviewed and chosen your project items, the total will appear at the bottom of the quote and is inclusive of all labor, materials, and project duration. It\u2019s also important to note that from here on out, communication moves from email to QuotientApp, our online communication portal, so no updates or questions are missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also the time when items can be added, removed or modified from your quote. If needed, an Uttrly team member is also available to discuss your quote in more detail over the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve accepted, now what?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s time to take our relationship to the next level and make it official! Once you\u2019ve accepted your quote, our team is notified and an Uttrly team member will send you your Service Agreement for review and signature via Docusign and your deposit can be paid via the QuickBooks link you\u2019ll receive. Both of these steps must be completed prior to moving onto the Project kickoff phase<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we\u2019ve checked those items off the list – together we\u2019ll identify the start date that best fits your schedule and you\u2019ll receive a welcome email detailing the things to know prior, during and after your project. On the scheduled start date, an Uttrly team member will go to the project site with you and walk-through the scope and expectations. Throughout the duration of your project you\u2019ll receive frequent written and photo updates of the work completed and any other pertinent information that may arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
